Shopify Experience

Pop-up bakery experience in partnership with Shopify to promote Cravings by Chrissy Teigen baking mixes.

Shopify Experiential Design

The Brief

Create an immersive experience where customers can come and interact with the product in real life using the Shopify space at The ROW DTLA.

Concepting

We decided on a bakery concept for the pop-up. This allowed us to lean in to a more surreal dollhouse look that felt like a bakery from a Wes Anderson movie. Working with fabricator Anthony Hart, we worked on renderings of the space and planned a custom branded experience - from a maple syrup fountain, the a gold butter sculpture.

Promotion

An animated billboard ran at The Marriott in downtown Los Angeles for two weeks leading up to the event.

Opening Day

We opened doors at 10am and had completely sold out of inventory by 1pm the same day. Throughout the course of the one week pop-up we had over 3,000 attendees.
